Are pets allowed at Landmark Park?

At this time, leashed pets are ONLY allowed on the dog walk in the back of the property. Service dogs are allowed throughout the park.

Is food available at Landmark Park?

The Martin Drugstore is open on Wednesday-Sunday selling drinks and ice cream. However, there is no restaurant on the premises. You are welcome to bring food into the park and take advantage of our picnic areas.

Can I get married or hold my own special event at Landmark Park?

Yes! Several areas of the park are available for rent. Prices vary, please visit our “rentals”page to learn more.

Is Landmark Park a state park or city park?

While Landmark Park does receive some funding from state and local sources, Landmark Park is privately owned by the Dothan Landmarks Foundation.

Can I take pictures at Landmark Park?

Yes! We would love for you to bring your cameras and we would love for you to share your pictures with us on our social media!

Does the park do fireworks on the Fourth of July?

No. We are open but do not have any special events on that day.

Does the main gate stay open until it gets dark?

No, the main gate closes at 5 p.m. on Sunday-Saturday. The only time the gate will be open after closing is during an evening special event or during a private event.

How long are the walking trails at Landmark Park?

The elevated Boardwalk that goes through the woods and over a creek is 1/3 of a mile (about 1800 feet). The Nature Trail, a dirt path through the woods is about 1/2 a mile.

Does the park only accept cash?

No, the park accepts cash as well as checks and all major credit cards.
