On Wednesdays during June and July at 10 a.m., anything goes! Wacky Wednesdays are programs on a variety of topics suitable for families with kids. These activities are free with paid gate admission unless noted in description ($5 for adults, $4 for kids, free for park members and children 2 and under. Pay when you arrive). June 8: Worm Farms
Come and build your own worm farm! Join one of Landmark Park’s instructors and learn about the importance of worms for both your garden and the forest. Remember, worms like dirt! Dress for mess! Materials will be provided. Meet in the Auditorium. $5 materials fee.

June 15: Gnome Globes
Join us for some fairy fun! Channel your inner home designer for your very own gnome friend. Whether you make a cozy cottage in your globe or a workshop, it is sure to please the faye folk. Materials will be provided. Meet in the Auditorium. $5 materials fee.

June 22: Juneteenth Celebration
Join Landmark Park for a day full of activities that showcase African culture! From traditional african drums and dancing to artists of all kinds, there will be plenty to see and learn. Guests will be able to enjoy various activities throughout the park. No registration required. Sponsored by Millie’s Garden, Schute Pecan, Vimal Patel, Best Western Inn and Suites.

June 29: History Quest
Unlock the mysteries of Landmark Park with this brand new adventure. In this mystery scavenger hunt, guests will enjoy a search around the entire park to find clues (to add with their map) which will lead them to historical treasures of the Wiregrass. Materials will be provided, but the adventure is up to YOU! Meet at the Gazebo.

July 6: Tea Party
Dine like Downton and join the park for another tea party! Participants are encouraged to wear their best tea time attire and hats! Enjoy various types of tea as well as tea time treats! Join the party and get your Bridgeton on! Meet in the Auditorium. $10 materials fee.

July 13: Squirt Gun Painting
Participants will enjoy a classic art form with a modern twist! Join us to make a masterpiece on canvas and wearable art as well. Please wear all white for maximum color. Paint and water soakers provided. Safety goggles suggested and provided. We want your artistic eye instead of art in your eye! Meet in the Dog Walk. $5 materials fee. THIS EVENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN!

July 20: Native American Dance
Enjoy learning the dances that built America before it was America. Participants will learn the culture and the meanings behind several dances from a local tribe. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to explore the world of the First Nations through music and dance. Meet at the Gazebo.

July 27: Highland Traditions
Game ON! Jump into the games with Highland Games athletes. Participants will learn about traditional sports of the Scottish Highland Games and the history behind them. Make sure to dress in your best Scottish attire and throw a kilt on the whole family! Meet at the Tractor Pull Track.
