Homeschool groups are encouraged to visit Landmark Park! We have developed several programs specifically for homeschool groups and can develop custom programs with advance notice. Homeschool groups also have access to our teacher resource library, including our Discovery Boxes and various other education resources available for check out. Groups may also rent our classroom for their own educational programs on-site or we can bring our programs to you!
Homeschool groups must register and pay through a group coordinator. We do not accept registrations for groups smaller than 10 students, nor do we accept payments from individual families for Field Classes and Planetarium Programs. Homeschool Days, Cane Grinding Day, and Harvest Heydays are the only exception. For these programs, you must preregister by filling out a program request form and pay in full if you’re registering less than 10 students. Please note, these programs have a higher overall minimum number needed in order for us to have the program. All programs require pre-registration; we do not accept registrations at the gate.
Pricing for students is listed in with the program descriptions. We require one parent per group to be present during the entire program and that parent receives free admission. The group must determine who the free parent will be. Other attending adults pay half the program price. A Park membership includes free admission, but that does not include program fees. In order to ensure that the students attending the program receive the full educational benefit, we ask that you not bring children that will not be participating in the program, especially if they are outside of the recommended age bracket. Parents and siblings are welcome to spend the time your child is in the program enjoying many of the other things the Park has to offer such as our boardwalk, nature trails, Barnyard Playground and more!
