Description

The Stokes Activity Barn at Landmark Park is the perfect location to make your event a memorable one. This 8,000 square foot event facility is styled like a traditional Southern barn and can accommodate groups both large and small. The barn and bridal suite are handicap accessible. Covered patios allow for outdoor seating in any weather. Weddings, receptions, banquets, family reunions, church outings, office parties, and charitable events are just some of the functions held here each year.

  • 350 folding chairs
  • Ten rectangle tables (8′)
  • Caterers kitchen, including freezer, microwave, refrigerator, oven, ice maker (please note there is not a stove)

  • Bridal suite with large mirrors, sinks, and restroom stall
  • Entry for your guests

Rental Fees

  • $1,000 for a one-day rental on Monday through Friday (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.); $1,200 for one-day rental on Saturday (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and Sunday (noon – 5 p.m.)
  • A signed contract and down payment of $500 is required to reserve your date. This amount is applied to your rental rate. Fifty percent of total balance is due six months prior to event; remaining balance must be paid one month prior to event.
  • $500 refundable damage deposit. To get this deposit back, the property must sustain no damage. Rental party must take all trash to the dumpster and remove all personal items from the property before they leave. Renters must vacate the property at the time designated on the contract. All rules must be followed to receive the deposit refund.
  • Add an additional day for $500 (regular park hours). Security fees apply if outside regular park hours.
  • 10 percent discount on rental fee if multiple park locations rented.
  • After you have completed the form, we will contact you with your total balance.

The Fine Print

  • Park does not provide setup.
  • Parking is allowed in designated areas only.
  • Music must be off by 12 a.m.
  • No smoking inside buildings.
  • Beer and wine may be served after park hours only. Landmark Park strictly controls all distribution of alcohol. Ask for alcohol policy for details.
  • Anything involving fire must be approved in advance, no live flame.
  • No glitter, crepe paper spray, spray streamers, wax candles, nails, staples, screws, glue, or tape allowed.
  • Decorations may be hung or tied.
  • Throwing of rice or confetti for weddings is prohibited. The use of birdseed is recommended.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations more than six months prior to the event lose down payment; cancellations less than six to two months prior to event lose fifty percent of total rental fee; cancellations one month or less before the event lose 100 percent of total rental fee.
