Thank you for considering Landmark Park as your educational programming resource.  Landmark Park is a unique, 150-acre outdoor classroom where you and your students can experience the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Wiregrass Region.  In this planning guide you will find all the information needed to schedule a field trip to Landmark Park where your students will participate in hands-on learning curriculum that correlates to the state standards.

Our Field Classes, Planetarium Programs, and Seasonal Sessions have been specially designed to provide students with activities to complement their classroom studies. Whether it is our turn-of-the-century farmstead, outdoor wildlife exhibits, planetarium, or boardwalk, the Park offers an exciting array of learning opportunities that cannot be duplicated in the classroom.  Most of our programs can be customized to meet your needs!  Just let us know what you want to focus on and we will do our best to accommodate you.  With advance notice, we can also develop custom programs for your students.

We look forward to working with you and your students and providing an unforgettable learning experience!

Onsite Programs:

Field Classes: Unique, hands-on learning opportunities to reinforce lessons learned in the classroom.

Planetarium Programs: Programs taught in our 30-foot planetarium dome using our state of the art projection system to create a fully immersive learning experience. (Think 360 IMAX theater)

Seasonal Sessions: These unique classes are only offered certain times of the year, so book early as spots fill up fast!

Self Led Use the park as a backdrop for your lessons. Just let us know you’re coming!

Field Class Follow-up  These programs are designed for groups scheduled to Landmark Park for a field class, but want the students to have a little more information than just one program can give.  We can come to your classroom to work with your students before and/or after your program to reinforce concepts learned at Landmark Park.
