Fall Living History

Dates: November 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Let’s go back in time to the farm life of the 1890’s.  Students will dress for the period as we enjoy a simpler time.  Tour the farm and meet the heirloom animals that thrive at the park.  Doing chores in Waddell House reminds us that there was plenty to do for everyone on the farm.  Master Gardeners will keep you busy in our kitchen garden.  Making fresh butter is easy!  We will enjoy it with lunch back at the house.  Horse-drawn buggy rides and plenty of farm fun await…y’all come see us!

Cost: $15 per student

Christmas Past

Dates: December 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13

Thinking of Christmas the way your grandparents described it to you? Students can experience some of the same activities and emotions of this very special season with cider tasting and story-telling by the fireplace. The children will also be invited to play parlor games and construct old-fashioned crafts they may take home with them. Due to the hands on nature of this program, groups are limited to approximately 30 students per session.
