Group Merit Badge Classes
Throughout the year, Landmark Park offers a variety of workshops designed to allow scouts to earn specific badges. Registration and payment will be through Landmark Park. Regular charge will be $30 for one scout and one parent for the general public. For park members, charge will be $25 for one scout and one parent. Additional parents will pay regular gate admission ($4 for adults, $3 for kids, free for park members)

Registration and prepayment are required. Registration is first come, first served and class sizes are limited. Registration is not limited to a particular troop, anyone may register.

Scout fee includes a T shirt. Additional T shirts available in the gift shop.

Scouts will be responsible for bringing Blue Card to each event. “Application for Merit Badge” must be completed, and signature of unit leader must be obtained before the workshop.Landmark Park will keep their copy on file. See attachment for details on blue card info.

Landmark Park will provide badge requirement worksheets to teachers in a timely manner. Teacher will cover enough material for the scout to obtain a badge unless otherwise noted in class description.

Private Merit Badge Classes
These will be offered at the sole discretion of Landmark Park. Cost will vary. Private sessions do not include a t shirt.

Scout will be responsible for bringing his or her own blue card to a private session. “Application for Merit Badge” must be completed, and signature of unit leader must be obtained before the class.Landmark Park will keep their copy on file. See attachment for details on blue card info.

Scout will provide merit badge requirements to education department in a timely manner so the park has time to prepare.

Public Programming
Many of Landmark Park’s educational programs, camps, workshops and public programs meet requirements for various merit badges. Scouts are welcome to attend these programs and Landmark Park will sign off on the requirements that are met. Price of each program will vary.

These programs will not be altered to fit merit badge requirements. If scouts have questions about requirements that would be covered during a program, Landmark Park will answer to the best of our ability. However, no guarantees will be made that all requirements will be met.

It is the responsibility of the scout to provide Landmark Park will any paperwork needed to verify requirements that were met during the class.

Tent Camping
Tent camping is available at Landmark Park with advance notice. This is unsupervised, tent camping. Park security will be onsite but not with the campers. Cost is $5 per person, per night. Additional programs and services can be added and costs will vary.
