On Monday, September 17, at 3:30 p.m., the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Emassee-Roberts Grierson Chapter, will host a bell-ringing ceremony at the Headland Presbyterian Church at Landmark Park to celebrate the 231st anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America. DAR members will be costumed in Revolutionary War era attire, and will speak at the ceremony. Free admission to Landmark Park will be granted beginning at 3 p.m. on September 17 for the event. The general public is invited to attend. Bells will be ringing from coast to coast to celebrate Constitution Week, which is recognized from September 17-23.
